I have additional expertise in treatment the mental health of parents of children with serious medical conditions and advocate through speaking and writing on these issues. Finally, I have competencies in pediatric palliative care.

In my practice I now primarily work with parents or other caregivers of children with medical or developmental concerns. I also commonly work with families where a parent or other family has been diagnosed with cancer on issues related to communication and parenting the children in the family.
Outside of my practice I am the Director of Clinician Engagement and Outreach for Courageous Parents Network, a national nonprofit organization devoted to tending to the psychosocial needs of parents of seriously ill children. We are the only organization that services as a liaison to the Section of Hospice and Palliative Medicine for the American Academy of Pediatrics. I am actively involved in my professional organization, the Society of Pediatric Psychology.
I am an OON provider.

I received my PhD from Ohio State University and completed my residency in Pediatric Psychology at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology & Neuropsychology at the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at NYU Langone Medical Center.
